Well over the last year I have found out a small piece of how different and remarkable life can be. I have truly done my best to follow the will of God as He has sent me around the world. I have seen the poverty of East Africa, the witch craft of Mexico and the complacence of America. However through it all I have seen the hand of our God touching lives, His love changing hearts and His plan of redemption staying strong. This is our God. My life has as I’m sure many of your have over the last (now nine months) taken on some new developments. I have changed from the Real Estate Company I was working for and I am now working full time with another company. I am beginning to do well and I’m starting to get a bit more established here. I have to say; I really don’t see myself leaving Mexico anytime soon. I thank God for allowing me to be here and I’ll stay as long as He lets me. To all my friends and family out there, I truly love and miss you dearly and can’t wait to see you all maybe next year??? Until next time. May the grace of the Lord be with you all.

My brother Aaron just came down to Playa and spent two weeks. Oh what a time we had. Hit the beach, took the boards and partied like there was no tomorrow:) Little Josh Griggs and I played pirates on the sand dunes and Aaron and I hit the surfboards for hours.
Mexico is beautiful this time of year and I am loving it. God is changing me every day and I'm overtaken by desire for Him. Spirits are high and vision is clear. Let's take over the earth. Bye for now.

Just stopping in to say hello; Letting everyone know that they are loved and missed. God is moving in great power and might and lives are YES… being changed for eternity. Truly I wish I was better at blogging, however sometimes life is more demanding then a blog. Now without further excuses allow me to inform you on the last few months of my life. Forgive me or thank me but I’m going to do my best to keep it short and sweet.
God is really smart. What I mean by this is I’m fully confident that He always knows exactly what He is doing and His timing is never off. When God calls a person to something and that person forsakes his own agenda to obey; that person is opening the widows of heaven over him/herself. God has placed me in Mexico, I’m really glad about that. I’m glad about that because it was His idea; because it was His idea that placed me in a position of potent blessing. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t see His mighty power at work in the lives of His people. Six weeks ago John and Sonja Decker came down and we started MTI Mexico. We have 20 students and God is working inconceivable things in the lives of each. I’m teaching nearly every week, leading worship more than that, building worship teams and overseeing our MTI. My days are busy filled with study and worship and hands on ministry. My nights are also busy filled with ministry nearly every night of the week. Since coming here I’ve seen God heal the bodies, souls and spirits of countless people. Salvations, restored relationships, purpose given to the lacking, answers given to the questioning and hope, love, joy and peace restored to many hurting and needy beloved children of God. I can say with confidence that I am one of Gods very favorite people. There is no other reason why I could be so incredibly blessed and loved. I’ve never been more content and satisfied in the purposes of God for my life and all these things make me one of the happiest people I’ve ever met. I like myself, I like where I’ve come from, I love where I’m at but I can’t wait to see where God is going to take me next. With contentment in all things, I bid thee ado.

So I've been taking pictures of doors now for a while and I really wanted to put them on my blog. However it seemed I needed a great reason for posting a bunch of door pictures. So I had a most wonderful idea. I would get on the internet and find a poem about a door and put it with my pictures. Unfortunately for me good door poems are a hard thing to find these days. So I took the liberty of just writing my own. I call it “The Forgotten Door”. Enjoy.

“The Forgotten Door”
Passed potential dimly fades; a tattered door stands in the shade. Once a chance for something great; this door now stands in battered shape. Whether life played cruel games or wrong decisions overcame; with no hope left within its frame this old door stands with none to blame. But looking on from far away a Crafter sees what none would clam, yet caring not what others see He runs to save what can’t be seen. Potential is the word He hears within His heart within His ears; leaving all His other goods, He runs to save the broken wood. Not seeing all the ragged mess, the missing hinges the woods distress. He only sees what will be found a perfect work in the Crafters hands.

Two weeks and Rocking! I love when God speaks about your future clearly. What this will do is empower you to move forward with confidence. God in He’s never changing goodness has continued to confirm my coming on a daily bases. Everyday people are getting saved, healed, delivered, and set free. People are being added to the church daily and God is being glorified.
Just two days ago I was able to attend a crusade on the island of Cozumel. The evangelist is the Pastor of the second largest Church in Caria. I have never seen anointing like this in my life. As worship was ending he came out and walked down off the stage and began to pray for people. This was before he had preached or introduced himself. Within five minutes people all over the stadium were getting delivered and healed. It was truly an amazing time and the power of God was reviled.
I thought of the scripture that states “We do not come with persuasive words, but with the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit”. The man did bring a word but as you can imagine he didn’t have to try to convince anyone that God was real. I share this with you to encourage the gifts that have been placed within you to rise up to new levels. God is real. He is moving in the earth in power to destroy the devil and all his works. We have been chosen to be a part of theses thing. We have been called to be “More than”. I leave you with these thoughts.
1 Timothy 4:14-16 (NKJV) 14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. 15 Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. 16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Going away party at Woolleys home two night before leaving for Mexico

4:00am Alarm goes off inappropriately load nearly sending me into panic. I arrive at the Redmond airport at five and check my bags in. On the plan and heading for L.A.X by 6:00am. Sitting by a wealthy business man who ended up telling me about how he made his first eight million before he turned thirty five, how nothings had ever fulfilled him and had been through four marriages so far. I was able to share some stories about the kindness and goodness of Jesus Christ and testify of His redeeming power in a life. That was great. Two hour layover in L.A. Changed airlines and flue Mexicana to Cancun. Made it through customs without my baggage for it had been lost when I changed airlines and it turned out that Alaskan air ended up losing a ton of bags from my flight. Left the airport to find my ride and I had mis-communicated and so I jumped a bus and found my way to Playa Del Carmen which was about fifty miles south of Cancun airport. Took off from the bus stop in Playa with guitar in hand and my small backpack and went looking for the house I’ll be living in. After two hours I found it, fortunately it was raining so hard that I couldn’t see ten feet in front of me and it was very dark and I was really unfamiliar with the area… so I had the going for me:). I did find everything eventually and even now as I’m writing this blog, my bags have come to the front gate. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Friends, family and foes; I apologize for my lack of updates over the summer; however I now plan on taking a few short moments to inform you all of the recent developments in my life.

The summer has been a busy one of travel, work, ministry, relationships and fun. God has taken the summer to speak some profound and marvelous and, yes even some splendid direction and clarity about my future. I will now inform you of my happenings.

While in Africa God began to speak to me about moving to central and or South America. I was unsure of such things being as it was my heart was quite set on moving to India. God spoke to me a word out of 1Kings that confirmed what God had been speaking about moving South, so writing it down I put it once again before the Lord as a matter of prayer. After arriving back to the states God began using pastors, peers and mentors to speak to me about going to Mexico. I kept my mouth closed until God had confirmed it by the mouth of six people. I told God I would not say anything until He had once aging confirmed it through His written Word that this was His will for me. Two scriptures were giving me the following week, one from Jer 1 and another from Acts 26. After confirmation of the word of the Lord I went once again to my pastors and shared all God had spoken. With the advice and wise council of mentors and pastors I was advised to go through with my foursquare licensing, which would enable me to be sent out under the covering of foursquare with pastoral credentials and connect me with a worldwide network of believers and open doors.

I’ve been living and working/roofing with my brother Brigham, attending Westside Church and ministering on worship teams since being back. Been on many short trips, some ministry, some to see friends and family. Right now I am going through the process of FQ Licensing, working hard daily and ministering consistently. God is moving in my life like never before and I can see lots of change and growth happening continually and regularly. I can truly say that I am happy, healthy, have vision, have direction, know what God is calling me to do and where He is calling me to do it. Jesus has been so faithful in my life and I know that He will continue to be, being that He is a God that does not change.

I thank the God and Lord Jesus Christ of my life for the good the bad and the uncertain in my life and know that what He has promised He is also able to perform.

Well I’m back in Bend now and so far my time here has been full of many visits with friends and trips to see family and more friends. Seen more people than I thought I knew and have made some amazing memorize already for it just being early summer. Over all I’m doing well being back. However… I am not “okay” with sitting around for much longer. I believe that God is calling me back to other nations of the world and so just as soon as He is clear with the where and when I will be obedient with the going. Over this last week I went back to eastern OR and saw my Family, while staying I helped my father dig a grave, which brought back some old memorize of growing up in halfway and working at the cemetery all my childhood years. Also I had the opportunity to speak to the Pine Eagle Youth Group and a woman bible study and share about my times in Africa and the amazing God that has over taken my life. I know God is doing something in me and getting me ready for a life of crazy adventures and missions and so with that… I’ll keep you updated with them as they come my way. Blessings

Times up folks and if off to the next great adventure God graces me with. I’ve been changed here in Africa and I think to the joy of all who knew me before perhaps even done some growing up. I can’t summarize all the things God did and give it the credit due, but I’m going to try. People’s lives were impacted and I believe changed for more than a life time, which is the goal. God was glorified and I pray He received all the glory and not just most of it. More than impacting lives of course mine own was the one that was changed and I pray that as time passes I will grow in humility and relationship with our creator.

I became close to my little friends that lived next door to me while living in Kampala and when I told them I’d be leaving, some of them didn’t take it as well as others. Here’s a picture of two of about ten frequent visitors to my “wall fence”. I’m going to miss them lots. Most morning I wake up the sound of my name being called from out my window by these beautiful little children. Lots of tickling and throwing them high into the air, swinging them till we’re all so dizzy none of us can stand and tossing them sweets (candy) from my window will be missed by them I’m sure but by me I know all the more.

I thank God for the opportunity to have come and maybe in His grace and wisdom He will someday let me return. Thus ends my time in Africa…

The mission to the islands were amazing, many saved, healed, baptized in the Holy Spirit, and water, a new church was built for an island and God moved in power like His so good at doing, glory be to the Almighty. Kids were loved and prayed over, food was eaten and bugs eat me but over all glory be to the Almighty. Got to the picture update link under links and see it all for yourself. Hey to all my faithful blog loving friends. I’ve just recently come back from a week long mission to a town about three hour’s away call Masaka. It was a fruitful week of preaching and teaching, leading worship and ministering to the local’s. God is as you know always on the move and these day’s I too am always on the move. I just updated my “picture update link” with pictures from that trip, so go check them out.

Tomorrow the Earwickers and I are heading out to the islands of Lake Victoria again and will be staying there through the 30^th. Four islands, five churches, one orphanage and preaching more than 11 times, so pray for strength, wisdom and revelation as we go.

Well my time here is running low now, only around three weeks leftL I will miss this place but maybe not for long. We’ll see what God allows in His great wisdom. Later today I’m going to a Benny Hinn miracle crusade; somehow we got VIP passes and so we get to go and meet with all the local pastors from Uganda. That will be amazing. So with that I go and will bring news and updates to all around the first or second. Blessings to all and to all a good night.

WOW it’s been a couple crazy weeks over here in the wild, wild west. Well westish, more like eastish, okay mostly like the wild east Africa. Almost two weeks ago The Earwickers and I hoped a bus to the bordering country Kenya. We took the short little 25hour bus ride over the low planes of Uganda through the high mountains of Kenya over the most “amazing” roads I’ve personally ever experienced to a town called Meru. Our trip to Meru was six days. During our time in Meru we taught, lead worship, did nightly crusades and played lots with little kids which I seem to have a full time ministry of over here in Africa. I am convinced that you can be anyone’s friend in Africa if you only have a camera and some hard candy. I think there is nothing more the Africans enjoy more than these two things; oh and the Holy SpiritJ

After our 25hour return trip back from Kenya on the bus, we were a bit rushed for time getting to the airport to catch a flight down to Rwanda. After a 25hour bus ride and an insane taxi van ride to Entebbe lasting more than two hours we finally arrived at Entebbe airport to find we had missed our check in time by less than three min; and the airport had just giving away our seats. A bit tuckered out from travel we just stood there for quite some time in the empty lobby of the less than busy airport with less than four flights going out a day. Looking at a few worn out and beaten down travelers I was finally able to convince them to go sit down and have a soda in a little restaurant atop the airport. After a bit of rest we got another taxi and went home for the night. The next day we left a lot earlier and made our flight the following day to Rwanda.

Through a friend of Brent’s parents we were invited to go and spend three days in Rwanda with a team of investors from the states. The team was lead by a pastor of nine years from Saddleback Church CA. Many of the team was Christian however a few weren’t. The team from the states was part of an organization called Maui Millionaire. In the group were authors, founders of large businesses in the US and millionaire investor from all over the world. This was a big deal for the Rwandan government. Because of the genocide of 1994 the country had been ripped apart and one of the biggest hopes for Rwanda now is rich people to put money back into the country. So while we were there we met many of the government leaders and had dinner with the governor and the team was even able to meet the President of Rwanda. More importantly than all that however, we were put up in the nicest hotel in the country. Now because we were a day late, the hotel was short on room; so in an attempt to get us rooms the Earwickers ended up in the top presidential sweet; literally the nicest room in the entire country of Rwanda. Blessing of the Lord, I also got a pretty nice room with a hot shower and as many free sodas and food as I wanted. The food was the best I’ve ever eaten in my life anywhere. So after all it turned into a very refreshing time after a crazy week in the mountains of Kenya.

While there we were blessed to get many God connections and open doors with pastors in the country. It was over all an amazing experience.

Now we’re back in our home country of Uganda and trying to get back in the swing of things. Over all we’re all happy and refreshed and ready to hit it hard again soon. Trying to get back to the islands soon to see my orphans and love on the islanders a bit. Love you all and we’ll keep in touch.

Hey just wanted ya’ll to know I’ll be on my way to Kenya tomorrow for a week and then off to Rwanda for almost another week so I don’t think that I’ll be around internet for somewhere close to two weeks. If I don’t respond to you for a while I apologize but when I get back I’ll have some mad updates and pictures for ya’ll.

Mucoma Yeba Zibaway, Praise the Lord for His goodness and never ending kindness toward His children, From generation to generation His mercies never fail us.

The young man Bruce that I wrote about in one of my blogs has now given his life to the Lord. Coming from an Islamic family and an abusive stepmother; God has once again faithfully rescued His elect out of the hands of the enemy. Bruce is eighteen years old and now that he is of legal age he has made the personal commitment to become a follower of Jesus Christ.

Over Easter weekend Bruce went home to his village to visit his family; to find that his cruel stepmother was dying from a horrible disease. Bruce although being saved for only a few days, had taken the Bible we had given him and been faithfully reading through the gospel of John. Seeing how God worked many unusual miracles through the hand of the disciples; Bruce began to preach to his family about becoming born again and giving their lives to Jesus Christ. He also spoke to his stepmother about the power of God being demonstrated through healing. His mother wouldn’t allow him to pray and his family didn’t convert their lives to Christ; but God has done a mighty work in Bruce and that is the greatest miracle of all. Bruce is a very persistent man with a great desire to learn and grow in the things of the Lord. Brent and I meet with Bruce a few times a week now and are teaching him many things of the gospel. He always comes with many questions and is ready to learn and change.

I believe that there are many people just like Bruce who are ripe and ready for harvest everywhere in the world. If we will take the time to slow down from our routine of life and look for the divine opportunities in the everyday.

Lord burn eternity on our eyes, let us never grow cold to the lost around us, May our eyes stay focused on the things that matter. The kingdom we can build for ourselves will never compare to the Kingdom that the Lord Jesus is allowing us to be a part of, if we only take our eyes off ourselves. Naked I came into this world and naked I will return, The Lord gives and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord.

Bussi Island

So I just got back from a week on the great islands of Lake Victoria. The amazing Earwickers and I headed off a little over a week ago to an orphanage on Bussi Island. We spent our time every day wearing ourselves out playing with 160 orphan kids. Over the week we did a Vacation Bible School with the kids. It was lots of fun but a bit difficult considering that these kids are up every day without fail at 5:00am for an hour long worship and prayer meeting that they lead themselves. The oldest child at the orphanage was fourteen however most of them are between six and ten. Every day at five they are up for a child lead Spirit filled hour long time with Jesus; and every night at seven they have another hour and a half worship and prayer service that they lead on their own. The little kids on this island put just about any Christian I’ve ever met to shame with their devotion, dedication, passion and love for the Lord Jesus. We went there to teach them and learned more by far then we taught. During our stay on the island we saw and help plant a new church and see seventy nine people get saved and baptized. Taught the kids how to fish and fly kites, gave away lots of hard candy and sang many songs around a large bonfire. It was the time of my life…

We spent our time every day wearing ourselves out playing with 160 orphan kids. Over the week we did a Vacation Bible School with the kids. It was lots of fun but a bit difficult considering that these kids are up every day without fail at 5:00am for an hour long worship and prayer meeting that they lead themselves. The oldest child at the orphanage was fourteen however most of them are between six and ten. Every day at five they are up for a child lead Spirit filled hour long time with Jesus; and every night at seven they have another hour and a half worship and prayer service that they lead on their own. The little kids on this island put just about any Christian I’ve ever met to shame with their devotion, dedication, passion and love for the Lord Jesus. We went there to teach them and learned more by far then we taught. During our stay on the island we saw and help plant a new church and saw seventy nine people get saved and baptized. Taught the kids how to fish and fly kites, gave away lots of hard candy and sang many songs around a large bonfire. It was the time of my life…

Today in Uganda

Today as Brent and I were on our way down town to buy Bibles for a church plant this coming weekend, we came upon a young man who eagerly approached us. He said to me, “what are you doing in Kampala?” I said “I am a missionary” His smile grew large and he said with expectation “I need to be saved”. “I’m tired of living in gilt and doing all these bad things. He said I don’t want to steal and lie and be mean any more. I need to be saved. So Brent and I proceeded to lead him in some scriptures and explain that to live for Christ is death to yourself and a new life in Christ Jesus. I went from there and bought him a Bible and took it back to him and gave him some things to read to start him off. I’m going to be meeting with him from now on. Pray he will become a true disciple of Jesus and change the world. His name is Bruce, He is 18 years old. The harvest is truly is great but the workers are few, therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out workers in to the field…
